Elizabethan Revival style chair
Chairs: Antique & Unique The Elizabethan Revival style of this upholstered side chair was popular in the late 1800s. American made, it drew on English design prototypes and is crafted in oak and darkly stained. At home in either the parlor or a bed chamber, the chair was intended to be a decorative but useful complement in any Victorian décor. The crewel work of the seat, while not original, is also an American tradition.
