The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council & Museums will host a reenactment battle of the Patriots against the British on the front lawn of the Village Green in Cutchogue. This battle commemorates the 250^th anniversary of the Battle of Oysterponds and pits the 3^rd NY regiment, 1775 Long Island, against His Majesty’s 23^rd Regiment of Foot, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. August 9^th , 10am-3pm, rain date August 10.
