SUMMARY:Cutchogue Old Burying Ground Conservation and Treatment Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council & Museums for a conservation and treatment workshop on October 15 at 9:30am to help us restore the Old Burial Ground in Cutchogue. Professional preservationists Joel Snodgrass and Zach Studenroth will teach burial stone history\, and how to clean\, straighten and repair headstones from different historic periods.  In the second part\, you will put to use what you learned. The workshop is from 9am-(2)3pm and requires pre-registration. Call or text 631-379-7494 or email  cutchoguehistory @gmail.com by Oct. 14. This workshop will also be the Community Service day for Mattituck Cutchogue School Seniors. Funded by a grant from the Gardiner foundation.
