DESCRIPTION:  \nIn celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, North Fork history organizations have collaborated to bring you a better experience of what happened during the Revolutionary War in our area. Each one of these North Fork Museums does an excellent job portraying their piece of how the Revolutionary War affected the people living in Southold Town through their stories\, objects\, and exhibits. Follow the trail to see how they represent their tales of how our nation began. Go from place to place to get a more comprehensive perception of what happened on the North Fork 250 years ago. To find out more about when these organizations are open and what exhibits and events they have planned\, visit their websites. 1. As part of our ongoing 250th celebrations\, join us for a moderated debate between Cutchogue’s most notable Revolutionary War nemeses\, loyalist Parker Wickham and Patriot Jared Landon. Hear costumed actors debate using Wickham and Landon’s own words. The town truly wasn’t big enough for the two of them. The winner not only won their independence\, but also the keys to the Old House. Saturday\, July  11\, 1:00 pm\, Mezzanine of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Free Library. Limited space.
