DESCRIPTION:On March 12\, 2023\, at 2:00 pm- author Tricia Foley will present an overview of her book entitled “Mary L. Booth\, an Extraordinary 19th Century Woman” She will be discussing her life and times on Long Island and 19th-Century  New York. Writer\, historian\, abolitionist\, and suffragist\, Booth wrote The History of the City of New York\, translated 47 books\, was the founding editor of Harper’s Bazar and worked for Abraham Lincoln. The talk will be held in the Community Room in the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library and hosted by the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council & Museums .
