DESCRIPTION:  \nIn celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, North Fork history organizations have collaborated to bring you a better experience of what happened during the Revolutionary War in our area. Each one of these North Fork Museums does an excellent job portraying their piece of how the Revolutionary War affected the people living in Southold Town through their stories\, objects\, and exhibits. Follow the trail to see how they represent their tales of how our nation began. Go from place to place to get a more comprehensive perception of what happened on the North Fork 250 years ago. To find out more about when these organizations are open and what exhibits and events they have planned\, visit their websites. 1. SUMMARY:Star Spangled Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join the North Fork Choral on the Village Green on July 4 as they celebrate the Nation’s 250th Birthday in a Star Spangled Concert. Established in 1936\, originally known as the “Southold Choral Society\,” today’s chorale has members from all over the North Fork. The 2026 membership\, over 20 strong\, represents a broad age range and blends decades of experience with fresh ideas to create a vibrant musical atmosphere. They are actively seeking new members to continue this wonderful tradition. All singers at varying levels of experience are welcome. \nThe singing membership\, along with an accomplished pianist and instrumentalists\, regularly showcase the breadth of the American Musical Tradition with this concert focusing on Patriotic Music. This concert will be part of the Suffolk County 250th celebration so make sure you bring your Passport books to be stamped! Saturday\, July 4\, 7:00 PM Come early and bring your chairs\, blankets and Picnics- Cutchogue Village Green\, behind the Old House. As part of our ongoing 250th celebrations\, join us for a moderated debate between Cutchogue’s most notable Revolutionary War nemeses\, loyalist Parker Wickham and Patriot Jared Landon. Hear costumed actors debate using Wickham and Landon’s own words. The town truly wasn’t big enough for the two of them. The winner not only won their independence\, but also the keys to the Old House. Saturday\, July  11\, 1:00 pm\, Mezzanine of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Free Library. Limited space.
